Where do the scam cases come from?
Each case is written up from real, currently circulating identity theft scams — how the contact happens, what the thief is actually after, and how to spot it.
What happens when I click "Get Protected"?
You’re taken to my official LegalShield associate page, where you can review and purchase a LegalShield plan directly. The purchase and the plan itself are handled entirely by LegalShield and its provider network, not by this site.
Does this site monitor my identity or credit?
No. Truth on ID Theft doesn’t provide monitoring, insurance, or restoration services itself. Those services are part of a LegalShield plan, available through the link on this site.
